An investor plan has the same elements, but is an external marketing document, typically directed at raising money from investors. It needs to convey the competence of the team and instiU confidence in their abdity to make the commercialization happen by addressing all elements of taking the product to market. 

There is an old adage in the world of financial investment Past performance is no guarantee of future results. In the United States, the Securities and Exchanges Commission has even mandated that this statement be included in any marketing document that contains financial performance data. However, in regards to thermoplastic materials, past performance of a real-life product is an excellent indicator of future results. Whenever possible, look at commercial applications of thermoplastic materials and analyze them from a material perspective. 

When owners wish to build a new source which will add a specific amount of a specific pollutant to an area that is innonattainment with respect to that pollutant, they must, under U.S. federal regulations, document a reduction of at least that amount of the pollutant from another source in the area. They can effect this reduction, or "offset," as it is called, in another plant they own in the area or can shut down that plant. However, if they do not own another such plant or do not wish to shut down or effect such reduction in a plant they own, they can seek the required reduction or offset from another owner. Thus, such offsets are marketable credits that can be bought, sold, traded, or stockpiled ("banked") as long as the state or local regulatory agency legitimizes, records, and certificates these transactions. The new source will still have to meet NSPS, BACT or MACT, and/or LAER standards, whichever are applicable. 

The market for PPVC film and sheet is only slightly less than for wire and cable insulation. Uses are as diverse as seepage barriers, factory doors, inflatables, baby pants, car trim, covering materials for book bindings and document cases and shower curtains. UPVC film has also been widely used for packaging of food, particularly for shrink-wrap purposes, but this market has been subject to some substitution by polypropylene. 

For more than 50 years, magnetic devices and other devices have been regularly tested and compared with other water treatment methods, notably chemicals. Although irrefutable, documented evidence of their beneficial effect in industrial water systems still seems sadly lacking, they have enjoyed a profitable share of the water treatment market. 

Whether electrostatic technology is superior to magnetic device technology is debatable. What is of interest is that, in a 1998 marketing and technical support documentation pack from a major electrostatic unit manufacturer, most of the information supplied related primarily to cooling water applications rather than boilers. The boiler data, such as there was, concerned only smaller, simple systems (e.g., HW boilers and steam ovens).

The main aims of MicroChemTec are the development of a unit construction kit for micro reactors, definition of standardized interfaces, investigations of modules on the market for their suitability for affiliation in the unit construction kit, documentation for this purpose, and demonstration of functioning of the concept with the example of selected unit operations or processes. 

An additional material based on the extractant octyl-phenyl-N,N-diisobutyl-carbamoylmethylphosphine oxide, or CMPO, (marketed under the name TRU-Spec) has also been widely utilized for separations of transuranic actinides (Horwitz et al. 1993a) but is also useful for uranium-series separations (e.g., Burnett and Yeh 1995 Luo et al. 1997 Bourdon et al. 1999 Layne and Sims 2000). This material has even greater distribution coefficients for the uranium-series elements U (>1000), Th (>10000), and Pa. As shown in Figure 1, use of this material allows for sequential separations of Ra, Th, U, and Pa from a single aliquot on a single column. Separations of protactinium using this material (Bourdon et al. 1999) provide an alternative to liquid-liquid extractions documented in Pickett et al. (1994).
