Manufacturing standard, multipurpose

From a chemical viewpoint fine chemicals are generally complex, multifunctional molecules and, consequently, are often of low volatility and limited thermal stability. This means that processes are generally performed in the liquid phase. Fine chemicals manufacture often involves multistep syntheses and is generally performed in a multipurpose equipment. This contrasts with the manufacture of bulk chemicals which usually involves continuous processing in dedicated plants. Hence, the emphasis in fine chemicals manufacture is on the development of processes that have broad scope and can be implemented in standard multipurpose equipment. 

Both design standards and official tests that are enforced by state agencies, in combination with strict inspection procedures, limit this hazard to quasizero, especially on large-scale units. No need to mention that equipment shall never be modified without enforcing the same standards and obtaining the manufacturer consent. However, some issues are often underestimated, especially on R D multipurpose equipment ... 

Types There are many types of ladders. They are classified by material of construction (wood, metal), load capacity, function and design. Some ladders are classified as type I, II, or in, depending on the standard loads (200,225, and 250 lb) used for certain tests. Most ladders are manufactured and sold for use. However, some ladders are job-made ladders, assembled at job sites. Ladders can be portable or fixed in place. Common types of portable ladders are step, platform, straight and extension ladders. Multipurpose ladders adjust to serve as several single-purpose ladders. Some ladders, such as those on truck trailers, have custom designs to fit around other design elements. There are many standards for ladder construction.
