The coexistence of immunoreactivities for glutamate decarboxylase (EC 4.1.1.15) and tyrosine hydroxylase (EC 1.14.16.2) was revealed in some neurones in the periglomerular region and in the superficial part of the external plexiform layer of the rat main olfactory bulb (Kosaka et al. 1985).
