Magnetic resonance imaging , cell-based

It is important to mention that another visualization technique based on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) has been developed in order to observe the water flow inside fuel cells. However, in this technique, all the materials used in the fuel cell have to be nonmagnetic. For this reason, the water content in the CL and DL (made from CFP or from CC) would be difficult to visualize with MRI. 

Based on this background, the objective of our studies was to test the therapeutic potential of mesenchymal stem cells, administered to rats following induction of MI or AKI by ischemia/reperfusion (I/R), and to monitor their physical presence in the injured organ using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and histology. 

Polymer-based nanocomposites reinforced with nanoparticles (NPs) have attracted much interest due to their homogeneity, relatively easy processability, and tunable physicochemical properties, such as mechanical, magnetic, electric, thermoelectric, and electronic properties [2,19-36], High particle loading is required for certain industrial applications, such as electromagnetic-wave absorbers [37,38], photovoltaic cells (solar cells) [39,40], photo detectors, and smart structures [41 3]. A nanoparticle core with a polymer shell renders many industrial applications possible, such as nanofluids and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
