Literature distribution service. Hospital librarians can create a literature distribution service so that key lessons reported in the literature and inside the organization can be disseminated to employees working on particular areas of concern (Williams and Zipperer, 2003). 

LITERATURE PROCUREMENT. The Data Center handles the procurement of technical literature and reports needed by the staff. Relatively new material can often be obtained directly from the author or originating organization. In general, however, it is necessary to obtain microfilm or photo-copies from established library or literature distribution services. Automatic printing of microfilm, now available, provides good copy at a reasonable cost. 

CHEMTREC s numba has been widely circulated in professional literature distributed to emergency service personnel, carriers, and the chonical industry, and has been further circulated in bulletins of governmental agencies, trade associations etc. 

The timeliness of a manuscript is more important than its form, which may be unfinished or tentative. Thus, in some instances, proofs may be merely outlined and results presented which have been or will later be published elsewhere. If possible, a subject index should be included. Publication of Lecture Notes is intended as a service to the international chemical community, in that a commercial publisher, Springer-Verlag, can offer a wider distribution to documents which would otherwise have a restricted readership. Once published and copyrighted, they can be documented in the scientific literature. 

In a broader perspective, the Commission exercised the central coordination that the theoretical literature emphasises as necessary to correct for undersupplied goods and services in a decentralised market and to address distributional problems that can arise from uncoordinated, decentralised decisions. In this instance, the centre provided a large part of the educational services needed to obtain a smooth and timely implementation and it acted to ensure a reasonable degree of equity among Member States with respect to the burden that would be placed upon national industries included in the EU ETS. In this latter role, aspects of the BSA were effectively renegotiated to allow Member States with a greater deviation from the Path to Kyoto to adopt totals that were similar to those of other Member States not facing these problems. Finally, in their review of NAPs, the Commission also acted to ensure that individual provisions did not constitute unwarranted subsidy (i.e. state aid). 

In general, this decision entails a determination of the number of levels in the distribution network, the number of outlets within each level, and other variables such as pricing, inventory levels, service levels, etc. The traditional marketing literature refers to these as distribution strategy, distribution intensity, and distribution management, respectively (Corstjens and Doyle 1979). 

The aeronautical aud aerospace industries continue to expaud in many countries around the world, driven by commercial and defense-related dmnand for aircraft, missiles, and satellites, and for their support services and systans. The literature of the field is broad and centered around journal articles, technical reports, and conference papers. Most of the information is publicly available, but a portion falls under various distribution controls due to its militarily sensitive or proprietary nature. The distribution mechanisms and the databases covering aerospace and aeronautical information are well established and provide engineers working in these fields with ready access to the data they require. 

Methods that will be used in this study are partially derived from well-known methods in the fields of production/inventory models, the queuing theory and Markov Decision Processes. The other methods that will be used, apart from simulation, are all based on the use of Markov chains. In a continuous review situation queuing models using Markov processes can be of much help. Queuing models assume that only the jobs or clients present in the system can be served, the main principle of production to order. Furthermore, all kinds of priority rules and distributions for demand and service times have been considered in literature. Therefore we will use a queuing model in a continuous review situation.
