Leakage spectra

Measured and calculated leakage spectra of H(d,n) source neutrons for Al slabs at Ea = 9.4 MeV... 

The testing of cross sections is eiqiected to become more susceptible to Interpretation when the linkages between the library Of. integral neutron eiqperlments and codes are further simplified. Leakage spectra, spectral indices, and reactivity worths are added to the library as required for those experiments where they are available.

Shell growth is accompanied by a small red shift (5 to 10 nm) of the excitonic peak in the UV-vis absorption spectrum and the PL wavelength. This observation is attributed to a partial leakage of the exciton into the shell material.

Ul represents a spectrum of severity in terms of both volume of leakage and degree of bother to the patient. To carefully consider the level of patient discomfort when discussing urine leakage, the clinician must probe during the patient interview to accurately determine the precise nature of the problem. 

The effect of DC bias on a contaminated sample at 100% RH is shown in Figure 5. At bias levels corresponding to threshold and super-threshold levels for electrochemical reactions, the impedance spectrum shows the capacitive loop that intersects the real axis at low frequency (.1 Hz). Zero-DC-bias data, which are not shown, form a similar arc that is large compared to the scale of this plot. This behavior is modelled by a parallel RC circuit, whose resistance decreases from 1 x 10 to 1.6 x 10 and whose capacitance remains constant at approximately 30000 pF, as DC bias is raised from 0 to 3.0 V. The resistances agree with those measured in DC leakage current experiments. The capacitances are 100 times larger than those measured on the clean sample at 100 % RH. 

Deeper fields in the western regions of Haltenbanken, e.g. Trestakk and Kristin and also 6407/ 4-1, contain only mature petroleum, i.e. there is a lack of medium to low maturity petroleum in the fields which would reflect accumulation of full spectrum oils (cf. Cornford et al. 1986). This suggests that even these structures have experienced leakage. Accordingly, the caprocks on these structures must have welded and the structures could refill with more mature petroleum, as the Spekk Formation was still not exhausted in their drainage areas. 

As shown in figure 4.9, the time evolution P f) shows three distinct time dependencies, each characterized by either 7, F, or e (1) The Lorentzian-like envelope, with width F for the complete absorption spectrum transforms into an exponential decay with rate constant F/ft, which is for the short-time decay of PXt)- (2) The set of resonances, separated on average by an energy e, transform into a set of oscillations (i.e., recurrences) whose periods are approximately elh. (3) The envelope of each individual resonance also transforms into an exponential-like decay, characterized by the rate 7/ft, which corresponds to leakage from the sparse i) — /) subspace into the quasi-continuum ). The recurrences described above in (2) are damped out by this slow decay.
