Islamic fundamentalism

Voters in Turkey recently rejected the claim of the traditional military-secular establishment that there is any fundamental incompatibility between democracy and Islam. 

Privacy is an important aspect in all societies. For Middle Eastern societies, privacy is considered a holy tradition and a way of life that shoirld be respected and reflected in everyday life and, as such, adapted in architectural solutions, building and town planning. Although each particirlar city in the different Islamic nations has developed its own interpretation of privacy, all of them include privacy as a fundamental, shared concern in architectural patterns. Privacy is related to family life, neighborhood life, and women s life. 

Hence, it is clear that fundamentally and operationally the physico-chemical process of protonatirMi can be linked to the above akin descriptors — the ionization process, the hardness, softness, electronegativity and electrophilicity. Recently, we (Islam et al. 2010, 2011a, b Ghosh et al. 2011a) have published good number of papers where we have discussed that the three descriptors, the electronegativity, the hardness and the electrophilicity index of atoms and molecules are fundamentally qualitative per se and operationally the same. All three represent the attraction of screened nuclei towards the electron pair/bond. Thus, we can safely and reasonably conclude that the proton affinity and the three descriptors have inverse relationship. 

One of the objectives of the Convention as stipulated in its preamble is to promote free trade in chemicals as well as international cooperation and exchange of scientific and technical information in the field of chemical activities for purposes not prohibited under the Convention in order to enhance the economic and technological development of all States Parties. This fundamental objective of the Convention should be respected and embraced by all States Parties to the Convention. Any form of undermining, either in words or in action, of this overriding objective is considered by the Islamic Republic of Iran a grave breach of the provisions of the Convention. 

In view of the Knights close ties with the East, the anonymous treatise also demands a reevaluation of Western child care programs in the context of both Islamic and Byzantine institutions. Since the fundamental cultural forces that shaped Western European society were identical to those that underlay the East Roman world, scholars need especially to compare Latin institutions with those of the Byzantine East.
