These are potential Federal Specifications issued in interim form for optional use by all Federal agencies when there is an immediate need and insufficient time to process the specification through concerned departments. These are designated in the same manner as Regular Federal Specifications, except that two zeros precede the serial number, and in parentheses after the serial number there is a code giving the agency responsible for the actual development and preparation of the specification. [Pg.383]
