Integrated array processer

M200H has an integrated array processer (lAP). Through the benchmark test in IMS, however, we found out that at best only 30 of our pregram was vectorized, gaining less than 20 of the total machine time. It is quite natural, therefore, this array processer is out of present users concern. Since the vendors are most seriously persuing vectrezation, however, excellent products will be offered very soon. [Pg.51]

An important aspect of this enhancement strategy is its compatibility with current fabrication techniques, in particular polymer processing technology. The technique of micro-injection moulding was employed to produce polystyrene chips with an integrated array of cone structures intended for use in an aqueous environment. [Pg.207]

Microsensor arrays can be obtained by applying a combination of the integrated circuit process and microelectromechanical (MEMS) techniques. Using this array, we can enhance the selectivity and reliability of the system, employing statistical techniques. [Pg.476]

From the early 1980s to present, infrared sensitive two dimensional arrays were mated to integrated circuits for signal processing and sensitivity to better than 0.03 K (see Photodetectors). These focal plane arrays of some 500 by 500 elements eliminate the need for scanning and provide good spatial resolution. Some versions have no special cooling requirements. The development trend is to increase the number of pixels to improve resolution, increase the field of view and keep the size and cost of the optics within acceptable bounds. [Pg.290]
