In Vivo Tests for Skin Sensitization

Specific test guidelines for skin sensitization have been developed by the OECD, US-EPA, and EU, see Table 4.10. 

There are currently three OECD test guideline methods for test of skin sensitization in animals. These include the Guinea-Pig Maximization Test (GPMT), the Buehler test, and the murine Local Lymph Node Assay (LLNA).
