Implant tissue-engineered constructs

Implantable tissue-engineered constructs are derivatives of cell therapies. They have certain advantages over implanting cells in that the culturing process is more easily controlled and tested before risking implantation. The technique is highly experimental and not without problems. We cover this more completely in later sections.
