Ensure tliat proper fresh ah ventilation is provided in oxy-fuel gas welding and eutting operations. Ensure tliat high-pressure oxygen systems are designed, eonstmeted, installed and eommissioned by eompetent people with speeialized knowledge of the subjeet. 

Austenitic stainless steels will exhibit stress-corrosion cracking in hot aqueous chloride solutions, in acid chloride containing solutions at room temperature, in hot caustic solutions and in high-temperature high-pressure oxygenated water.
