Tyihak et al. validated this technique using the separation of the synthetic dyes indophenol, Sudan G, and Butter Yellow. Natural products such as capsaicin from Capsicum annum and fiirocoumarins from Heracleum sphondylium have been separated by Nyirdey et al. (14). 

Plants may be involved in the development of photocontact dermatitis. A group of 58 soldiers presented simultaneously with phytodermatitis after duty in an open field. The authors presumed it was induced by contact with Heracleum sphondylium (Qadripur and Grunder 1975).
