Haloprogin is used as an external drag for moderate dermatophyte infections (shingles), and it is effective for superficial Candida infections. Synonyms of this drug are halotex, mycilan, micanden, and others. [Pg.545]

Haloprogin (Halotex) is available as a 1% cream or solution, which is applied topically. It is applied twice a day for 2 to 4 weeks. It is used principally in the treatment of tinea pedis. [Pg.440]
