Habitat of Paracoccidioides brasiliensis is the soil of semitropical areas along rivers and agricultural areas in Latin America. In children, acute dissemination causes severe illness, often associated with pustules or subcutaneous abscesses. In adults (mainly males) - usually many years after an asymptomatic primary pulmonary infection - chronic disseminated disease leads to mucocutaneous lesions (ulcerating papules and pustules, subcutaneous cold abscesses, sometimes scrofuloderma-like manifestations), especially around nose or mouth in about half of the patients. Itraconazole is the drug of choice. 

Natural Habitat Predominantly saprophytes, living on wild mushrooms, rotting wood, leaf mold and manure piles. Maturing mushrooms are frequently infested with sciarid larvae, the so-called "worms" that commonly ruin choice wild edibles. 

Investors tend to prefer their domestic habitat. When they have domestic liabilities, their first choice will probably be domestic assets. This is all the more likely in index-linked markets, where the inflation protection offered by an Australian linker is likely to be far more valuable to... 

The choice of post-mining land use (including the type of land ownership) is often a significant factor in reclamation. Land leased from a farmer would often be reclaimed for agricultural use, while government held land in recent years has often been used for parks, recreation, or wildlife habitat. Surrounding land use should be considered since land may often be reclaimed to its former use or to the predominant land use in the immediate area. 

In insects the chemistry of the environment is a dominant modality mediating adaptive behavior, including the choice of food and feeding, avoidance of danger, location of a sexual partner and the choice of a habitat for the progeny. However, it is important to recognize that other environmental stimuli such as visual, tactile, temperature and humidity also are part of the total sensory input to the central nervous system (CNS). These perceptual mechanisms together with the internal state of the CNS, as influenced by earlier sensory perception or developmental processes, determine the insect s behavior.
