Green Label certification

It is advisable to use a color-coded labeling system to keep track of the test stages. In our case, a yellow spot was added after successful heat cycling with test software loaded, and a green spot half covering the yellow spot was added once the validated software had been loaded and the board tested successfully no device could be shipped unless both spots are present. The manufacturer will be expected to supply a certificate of conformity for the devices produced and packed with each batch. 

Environmental certification programs include Green Cross and Green Seal in the United States, the Blue Angel program in Germany, the EcoMark in Japan, and the Environmental Choice label in Canada. 

Several of these motivators have translated to increased consumer demand for bio-based and eco-friendly products, motivating surfactant producers and suppliers to seek certification for the labels bio-based or green or eco-friendly or sustainable (McCoy, 2008 Hayes, 2009). Of note, the feedstock costs will serve as the main economic motivator for manufacturing bio-based surfactants, since the production cost per mass for bio-based is roughly equivalent to petroleum-based (US Department of Energy, 1999).
