In this application four individual cells are required to meet the voltage requirement. (The number of cells is, of course, adjustable with minor modification to meet a wide range of voltage needs.) Each cell contains flat circular anodes and cathodes that are separately wired in parallel to achieve the individual cell capacity and plate area needed for a given set of requirements.
