Prima Facie Case and Affirmative Defenses. The imposition of strict tort liability did not mean that a plaintiff was entided to automatic recovery when iajured by a product. The foUowiag decisions set forth the basic elements that a plaintiff must estabUsh ia order to make out a prima facie case of products HabiUty and the affirmative defenses that either reduce or bar plaintiff s recovery.

Nowhere is this concern with individual rights more crucial than in questions concerning the justice of energy policy. It is sometimes advantageous to employ a burette with an extended jet which is bent twice at right angles so that the tip of the jet is displaced by some 7.5-10 cm from the body of the burette. The basic rocks in the Shimokawa area are metamorphosed up to green schist to amphibolite facies which are considered to be due to submarine hydrothermal activity (Miyake, 1988 Mariko, 1984 Mariko and Kato, 1994). 

In the other areas, generally, the host rocks weakly suffered regional and contact metamorphisms but suffered ocean-floor hydrothermal alteration. For example, hydrothermal alteration mineral assemblages in the Minamidani mine district in the Maizuru range from prehnite-pumpellyite facies to a transition state from green schist to amphibolite...
