Events video

That s exactly right. As a filmmaker. I m truly going in with no agenda. I am not coming in as a storyteller with my own voice. I am coming in to try to hear their voice, and then try to use my skill and experience and know-how to communicate their story in whatever way is most effective for them. Someone that really knows me and my work can probably identify a piece that I did versus a piece that some other event video producer did. However, what I want more than anything else is for the audience to hear the voice of the people. I want to be invisible. 

The Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami on December 26, 2004 was the first tsunami of the Video Age. Before that event, we only really understood tsunamis from eyewimess descriptions, or else drawings made after the event. Videos taken that day showed the world what previously had to be imagined - first, the sea recedes and then, a few minutes later, a remorseless overwhelming wall of water comes ashore, destroying everything in its path. We also saw for the first time before and after satellite photos of villages obliterated by the tsunami. An estimated 230,000 people were killed. 

All audio events, video events, and MIDI events are contained in tracks on the timeline. Therefore, you need to create a new track before you can create an event To create a track, browse for and preview media files (loops) in AQD Explorer and then double-click one to create a track. 

It is a good practice to try and predict what level of information is expected to be extracted from the data before conducting sessions relying on observation. For instance, problems posed by movement and interaction among individuals, and the inability of a video system to capture extremely detailed events, must all be considered in advance. If certain aspects of the task are videotaped, the recording process itself should be as unobtrusive as possible. The minimum requirement is that it does not get in the way. Also, some people may react negatively to being observed and recorded. For this reason, the workers should be briefed about the objectives of the observational study in advance. 

Annotate each type and collaboration with a summary of what its instances represent. Be careful to make it clear which real-world objects and events are included. For example, does a Customer include all the people we have ever sent brochures to, or is it only people we ve actually done business with Is a separate check-out deemed to have occurred for each separate video, or is a bundle of four (with one free) a single check-out ... 

An abstract action, together with a refinement, is called a use case. The story accompanying the event chart is called a scenario. Some tools can show the breakdown of the video store into its internal parts directly in the event chart others make you show it in a separate diagram.
