Established category

Many compounds act as antidepressants but do not conveniently fall into a well-established category. Bupropion (Wellbutrin, A.64) is one example (Figure A.20). Bupropion inhibits reuptake of both NE and DA. Another example is trazodone (Desyrel, A.65), a compound which increases 5-HT levels in the synapse. 

DeGroot et al. (2002) establish categories of ecosystem functions that yield ecosystem services. These include regulation of ecological and natural processes, habitat, production, and information. 

Because of the cumbersome nature of even abbreviated forms of long, nonrepeating, saccharide sequences, and because the most abundant mammalian glycolipids (the glycosphingolipids) fall into a few well-established categories, a special nomenclature is often used for them. There is no similar shorthand system for the less-abundant glycoglycerolipids etc., and some uncommon glycosphingolipids are not easily fitted into it. 

It is important to recognise that drugs in the well-established category are not necessarily safer than those in lower categories (and so on) - only that more information is available about their safety. 

All information acquired or produced by the Organisation and its constituent elements which is determined to be confidential must be given a classification, based on established categories which correspond to the level of sensitivity of confidential information. In its application, the classification system will not impair the requirement for effective verification of compliance with the Convention, and it should be capable of providing, as necessary, for the release of general information, in adequately desensitised form, regarding the implementation of the Convention, in order to promote its acceptance and credibility. 

EPCRA, Section 311 requires facilities covered by OSHAct to submit an MSDS for each hazardous chemical or a list of such chemicals to the LEPC, the SERC, and the local fire department EPA has authority to establish categories of health and physical hazards and to require facilities to list hazardous chemicals grouped by such categories in their reports. An MSDS need only be submitted once, unless thae is a significant change in the information it contains. An MSDS must be provided in response to a request by an LEPC or a monber of the public. Hazardous chonicals are defined by the CFR, Title 29, at Section 1910.1200(c)(3).
