Proteins are involved in a vast number of highly disparate transactions. Enzymatic processes, immunological reactions, transportation, signal transmission, regulation, structural support and maintenance are all examples of biochemical events where protein participation is indispensable. Using the curvature approach, we believe the modus operandi of this plethora of delicately tuned incidents can be identified. [Pg.243]
