Doctorate degree cooperativity

The search for new psychopharmaceuticals lies largely in the hands of pharmaceutical companies and is thus strongly influenced by commercial interests. During the development of new compounds, these companies work closely with universities and other research institutes, and later with doctors and psychologists in clinics, hospitals and private practices. This cooperation is supervised to different degrees by the state or regional authorities in different countries.
