When I was so sick that I was crawling, there wasn t anyone to help me. Mold was growing in my dirty dishes from sitting in the sink so long. I was desperate to find a way to gather back some health, and my willpower from running sustained me as I went from doctor to doctor. 

The precision and accuracy of instrumental color measurements and the associated color tolerance can provide a system of control that equals that of an experienced color matcher. In order to use a gel in the heel part of the sole, it is necessary to solve problems that are unique to shoes. These include the shape stability of the gel, property changes caused by penetrants, changes in appearance when the soles get dirty, good processability by injection or compression molding, in addition to mechanical property requirements. Of course, there are problems related to cost and supply of materials. Because shows are not particularly expensive commodities, cost reductions and mass production issues are always important consideration in shoe production. From the performance viewpoint, properties that are difficult to quantify, such as comfort, are also important properties.
