Diphenyl cyanoacrylates

Aryl ethers are another class of cyanoacrylate plasticizers which have been patented. These materials, diphenyl ether for example, are used in the range of 0.5 to 15%. The presence of greater than 15% of these ethers will adversely affect the bond strength according to the patent. 

This group of UV absorbers may also be represented by substituted cyanoacrylates such as ethyl-2-cyano-3,3-diphenyl acrylate. They absorb in the 290-320-nm range.
