There exist three possibilities to determine the heat capacity C2 respectively the specific heat Cp of filling within the measuring kettle [Pg.222]

The filling G in the measuring kettle is brought to the temperature T2 by the short-term action of the electric heater, and then the temperature decrease T2 t) T2o = AT(f) is recorded. Because of (6.1) and (q-physicochemicai + 9physicai) = 0, the reaction runs corresponding to [Pg.222]

Plotting ln AT(0) versus time gives as a result a straight line with the slope [Pg.223]

Between the specific heat Cp and the effective heat capacity C2, the relation Cp = C2 — CmJ/G holds. Combining this with (6.7) we obtain [Pg.223]
