Degrees accreditation

The authorized inspector shall have a minimum of 10 years experience in the design, fabrication, or inspection of industrial pressure piping. Each 20 percent of satisfactory work toward an engineering degree accredited by the Engineers Council for Professional Development shall be considered equivalent to 1 year s experience, up to 5 years total.

Accreditation is the procedure by which the competence of a laboratory to perform a specified range of tests or measurements is assessed against a national or international standard. The accreditation covers the kinds of materials tested or measured, the procedures or methods used, the equipment and personnel used in those procedures, and all relevant systems that the laboratory has in place. Once accredited, the laboratory is entitled to endorse test results with their accreditation status which, if it has any validity, is an imprimatur of some degree of quality and gives the client added confidence in the results. Accreditation therefore benefits the laboratory, by allowing the laboratory to demonstrate competence in particular tests, and the client, by providing a choice of accredited laboratories that are deemed competent. 

Any type of accreditation or license that directly applies to the job for which you re applying definitely should be added to your resume. This section can be used to showcase professional licenses you ve earned in addition to, or in lieu of, a college degree. If you are currently in the process of earning a certificate or professional license, this should also be listed within this section of your resume, along with the expected completion date. 

In response to the needs of industry, a number of centers for graduate study in maeromolecular science have developed. The first such center was at Brooklyn Polytechnic Institute (now Polytechnic University) and large centers now exist at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland Ohio I Pig. I). Bachelor s degree (5-year program) or advanced pharmacy degree (Pharm.D. or M.S.) from an accredited college of pharmacy, hospital pharmacy experience preferred, licensure or eligibility for licensure. 

CREDENTIALS Graduate of an accredited college or university with a BSc in Pharmacy or a PharmD degree. Hospital experience preferred but not required. 

The IMEP philosophy is to create an awareness of these issues within both the measurement and accreditation communities so that they can take appropriate action themselves.
