360-degree diagnostic instrument

These improvements have led to the development of new analytical methodologies that satisfy specific requirements to a greater degree such as microdestructiveness or nondestructiveness of the sample to be analyzed. In this context, the use of spatially resolved analytical techniques have provided new opportunities for microdestructive and, at times, completely nondestructive analyses, and thus, new diagnostic approaches have been developed for the study of samples of artistic and/or archaeological importance [2,3],... [Pg.845]
