The omission of the other names is significant, as works of alchemical nature attributed to those men were at later dates very much esteemed, on account of the high reputation of the men as scholars and it seems safe to infer that if works like the Libellus de Alchemia, etc., attributed to Albertus, or the Speculum, Alchemiae, Breve Breviarium de Bono Dei, De Arte Chemiae, credited to Roger Bacon, or the various alchemical works credited to Arnaldus of Villanova, were then extant, that so conscientious a student of authorities as Petrus Bonus would not have been likely to have omitted them.

The Six Thinking Hats, designed by Dr. Edward de Bono, is an ingenious framework to think through a subject in a focused way that makes time and space for creative thinking [C-19]. It is used extensively in companies such as DuPont, IBM, Prudential Life Insurance, British Airways and Siemens to have efficient, productive meetings. 

The standard book on creativity is Edward de Bono Lateral Thinking, Penguin Books 1990 (Other books by de Bono such as The Five Days Course in Thinking are at least as creative, but they are out of print.) A lively and humoristic one is Roger von Oech A Whack on the Side of the Head, Warner Books, 3" edition 1998.
