Curator planning

SPTR has been produced weekly since its start in January 1998. At the 14.6.1999, SPTR contained 323,354 entries 79,449 SWISS-PROT entries, 201,065 TrEMBL entries, and 42,840 TrEMBLnew entries. As the rate of incoming data and the addition of value through manual curation and automatic annotation increase, the plan is to produce SPTR daily in the near future. 

All the non-archival sources cited here, except the private communications and the online document, are available at the Science Museum Library. The unpublished Annual Reports of the Science Museum and much of the published Science Museum material are kept in the semi-rare book room. In addition to these sources, I also had access to the chemistry curator s collection of gallery photographs and a set of labels with floor plans for the 1977 Gallery. 

If you follow a curation method, your information resources can be better used in establishing more effective plans with goals and objectives for improvement. 

By establishing a curation process for safety system resources and history, information resources can be used to establish more effective action plans, job improvement goals and objectives. The JHA process should have a built-in method to ensure they are updated and kept current as changes are made in the workplace. 

A data management plan describes the creating, organizing, documenting, storing, and sharing data. The plan would cover protection and confidentiality, preservation, and curation. It provides a framework that supports the safety management system documents, materials, and information.
