Molybdenite or molybdenum disulfide (M0S2) or molysulfide is a mineral [5] found in granites, syenites, gneisses, and crystalline limestones. A NIOSH (National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health) web site [6] has listed a total of 31 synonyms for molybdenite.
