A collision of two cranes This type of risk is directly related to the functionality of the device that monitors the proximity of two cranes. The failure of the device causes increased probability of two cranes colliding. The collision may result not only in the functional failure of the lifting machine system, but also in injuries caused by potential derailing of the crane from the guiding structure (GS). [Pg.127]
