Titanate, coordinate type

KR [Kenrich], TM for a prefix for a series of monoalkoxy, chelate, and coordinate type titanates and zirconates. [Pg.732]

The spectrum of the tetrahedrally coordinated tetraphenyl titanate does not resemble the type IV spectrum, primarily due to enlargement of the 20 ev. absorption peak. The second tetrahedral coordination sphere in this compound, consisting of carbon atoms, may account for this change. An analogous change, also attributed to the second coordination sphere, is observed for the octahedral hexacyanides as compared to the other octahedral compounds. [Pg.180]

Chem. Descrip. Tetraisopropyl di (dioctylphosphito) titanate (coordinate type), IPA... [Pg.456]

The rare earth titanates crystallize in an orthorhombically distorted form of the perovskite structure, commonly known as the GdFeOs type, found widely for other LnT03 materials and described in Pnma (Pbnm in earlier literature) (Figure 16). As the Ln + ions are too small for 12-fold coordination, the TOe octahedral tilt to accommodate a lower coordination number, which is near 9-fold. [Pg.2447]

Titanate coupler n. One of a family of organo-titanium compounds first developed by Kenrich Petrochemicals in 1978 and burgeoning since then. Types available include monoalkoxy, chelate, coordinate, and quaternary salts. They form molecular bridges between organic matrices (resins) and inorganic fillers and reinforcements. Conductivities of metal-filled plastics are increased by one to four orders of magnitude, while melt viscosities are reduced by factors of 0.3-0.1. [Pg.984]
