Contract sizes

A test of the basis-set effects on the excitation energy and transition moments of vertically excited singlet states in pyrazine has been published [43]. Table IV shows some recent data on the basis-set dependency of the excitation energy for the lowest vertically excited singlet states of neutral butadiene and its positive and negative ions. In accord with the previous results, we conclude that basis sets of the contracted size (4s3pld/2s)... 

Contract sizes are very similar being 100,000 in Eurex and 100,000 in the States. 

As an alternative to Eurex s 10-year Euro-Bund future, Euronext LIFFE offers a similar contract again based on a nominal 100,000 contract size, tick value of 10, and the same expiry cycle. The Euro-Schatz counterpart, however, offers a contract size of 200,000. The smallest allowable price movement is one half of a basis point and hence the value of a tick remains at 10.

There is a marked contraction in size on the formation of an ion, the percentage contraction decreasing as the percentage loss in electrons decreases (for example Na Na" involves loss of one of eleven electrons, Cs -+ Cs" the loss of one of fifty-five electrons). Some values for Group II and III elements are shown in Tables 2.2 and 2.3 respectively. 

Our primary interest in the Flory-Krigbaum theory is in the conclusion that the second virial coefficient and the excluded volume depend on solvent-solute interactions and not exclusively on the size of the polymer molecule itself. On compressors with gas seals, it is very desirable to use the contract buffer gas skid. Use of the skid provides the contract filtration level as well as having the regulators sized for contract conditions and checks the buffer gas skid functioning. Most shop systems are built of surplus parts and tend to use manual regulation, which may lead to serious test stand problems. If the skid is not available, it is important to have the vendor provide a comprehensive plan on how the shop buffer gas will be set up.
