Components of an Ion Chromatograph IC Instrument

In this chapter, we describe the various components of an ion chromatographic instrument, their function, how the instrument is built, and how to recognize parts of the instrument in the event that maintenance is needed. An understanding of some of the available instrumental options is also helpftd in achieving better separations or using other detectors different from those included with an integrated IC instrument.
