Communication topics/themes

The students will be given topics/themes related to the subject they have to explore an interesting problem of their choice in the context of the course. Projects can be done individually or in teams of two/three students. The students will be given various themes related to automotive electronics like the realization of control algorithms required for specific automotive applications using MATLAB/Simulink and the implementation of communication protocols automotive sensors emission control systems safety, security, and driver assistance systems etc. The activity involves different phases like the following ... 

As a response to the events of September 11,2001, the National Security and Homeland Defense Workshop was included as one of six workshops held as part of Challenges for the Chemical Sciences in the 21st Century. The workshop topics reflect areas of societal need—materials and manufacturing, energy and transportation, national security and homeland defense, public health, information and communications, and environment. The charge for each workshop was to address the four themes of discovery, interfaces, challenges, and infrastructure as they relate to the workshop topic ... 

The scientific community that is concerned with the phenomena for whose study we are together today is now sufficiently structured to plan an annual conference that can be successively focoused on the various topics of interest, in order to review their achievements and to discuss their present developments. Each theme need not be considered every year.
