Collaborative innovation stakeholders

Collaborative innovation success will be a product of many stakeholders collaborating and sharing the risk of change. To facilitate the process, national policy architectures must be modernized to address the changing nature of innovation and growth. The redesign of national innovation policies must be balanced, consistent and coordinated, and focused on crucial challenges. 

Collaborative and iterative process gathering researchers from physical and human sciences, innovative enterprises, water managers, stakeholders, decision makers... 

The CPSI was established in 2003 after inputs from various Canadian health care professional organizations and federal, provincial, and territorial ministries of health [10]. It is an independent organization and promotes solutions and collaboration among governments and stakeholders to improve patient safety. The main areas of improvemenf are education, commuiucation, system innovation, regulatory affairs, and research. 

Later, more downstream processes became involved in CE, like service and disposal. The necessity to incorporate the customer early in the design process was also recognized in the approach called Open Innovation, in which consumers, customers, suppliers, and OEMs collaborate to identify potentially successfiil product ideas. In this way waste in terms of time and cost is reduced considerably by the upfront matching of insights of important stakeholders. 

As already indicated above, to satisfy the different market and consumer demands, safeguarding or improving reputation and image without increasing costs too much, while remaining sustainable, FSCs need to continuously innovate their products, processes, and organisation. This will hardly be possible without collaboration between relevant stakeholders and taking into account specific properties of the food supply chain. 

Sustainability is achieved in communities and supported by numerous infrastructure systems, rather than in individual infrastructure systems in isolation. Building sustainable communities requires involvement of stakeholders, users, and producers of the various systems, with new paradigms of collaboration, bold approaches to innovative solutions, and integration of infrastructure systems.
