Classification cleaning

Clean Room Standards and Room Classification Clean room technology is the most typical feature of aseptic manufacture. The major regulatory sources of guidance to appropriate technology and air standards for aseptic filling [2,3,4]... [Pg.201]

When a block is inside, the entrance panel is closed and the inspection is ready to start. The inside of the stainless steel X-ray tubehead housing is clad in lead with an on/ofT shutter in front of a thin plastic X-ray window. The thin window is to ensure the IP 65 classification. The window is of plastic that is not affected by the cleaning agents. The on/off shutter is interlocked with the entrance and exit panels so X-rays can be kept on at all times without risk of radiation leakage or exposure of the frozen fish blocks prior to the actual inspection. [Pg.591]

EN 779 1993 in principle contains two different test methods. The filter is tested both with untreated outdoor air and with the addition of synthetic dust. In the first case, the filter s dust spot efficiency is determined, i.e., its capacity to clean normal outdoor air. In the second case, the filter s arrestance is measured, i.e., its capacity to separate synthetic dust. The average value for dust spot efficiency or arrestance during the course of the test is used for classification of the filter. [Pg.683]

Classes for clean rooms Many national standards are in use for the classification of clean rooms. It is recommended that the standard of the country in which they are to be installed be referred to. [Pg.1421]

If the pumps are located indoors, a Division 1 classification is likely to apply. Motors must be Class 1, group D, explosion-proof, or they may be separately ventilated with clean outside air brought to the motor by fans. Auxiliary devices such as alarm contacts on the motor must be suitable for the area classification. The installed costs, overall efficiencies, and service factors associated with the enclosures that are available will influence the selection. [Pg.416]

It cannot be emphasized too strongly that dirt and correct lubrication are incompatible. The lubricant manufacturer has a comprehensive system of classification, filtration and inspection of packages, which ensures that all oils and greases leaving his plant are free from liquid and solid contaminants. It is in his own interests that the user should take the same care to ensure that the lubricant enters his machinery in as clean a condition as that in the bulk tank or barrel. The entry of abrasive dust, water and other undesirable matter into bearings and oilways may result if lubricants are handled carelessly. [Pg.884]

Most measurements of silver concentrations in natural waters prior to the use of clean techniques are considered inaccurate. Until analytical capabilities that exceed the dissolved-particulate classification are developed, it will be necessary to rely on laboratory and theoretical modeling studies to fully understand chemical speciation of silver in natural waters (Andren et al. 1995). [Pg.570]
