Some North American examples cf tree-sized legumes that occur in temperate climates include the black locust Robinia pseudoacacia, yellow-wood Cladrastis luted, redbud Cercis canadefisis, haiey locust Gleditsia triacanthos, and Kentucky coffee tree GyninocloAus dioica.
