Obtained by heating Cladrin (7-hydroxy-3, 4 -dimethoxyisoflavone) (m.p. 257-258°) with 10% aqueous barium hydroxide at reflux for 2 h (73%). Cladrin was isolated from Cladrastis lutea (Mich, f.) K. Koch (Leguminosae) [5533]. [Pg.1487]
