In 1907 and 1908 he was civil engineering instructor at the University of Vermont, and then engaged on water power projects for the New York State Water Supply Commission. Eaton became associated in 1912 with the Power Construction Company which started water power developments upon the Deerfield River in Southern Vermont and in Western Massachusetts. As assistant engineer of Alger A. Conger (1875-1931), he was connected with this important water power projects of his Company, which expanded into a system of 1,000,000 HP capacity, about one-half of which was water power. [Pg.264]
