A micronucleus induction study gave inconclusive or negative results in the bone-marrow cells of mice treated in vivo and weakly positive results in Pleurodeles yvaltl. Bromodichloromethane did not induce unscheduled DNA synthesis in rat hepatocytes in vivo, while sister chromatid exchanges were increased in the bone marow of mice dosed in vivo.
