Muddle the strawberries with the lime juice. In a blender, mix all the ingredients (except the hollowed lime half and 2 ounces tequila), blending at high speed for 1 minute. Pour into a 36-ounce goblet glass. Float the lime half on top with 2 ounces of tequila poured into it. Garnish with the parasols and flamingo straws. 

For semi-solid and emulsified dressings, transfer a sample to a larger vessel, mix for ca. 2 min. until homogeneous and without delay, remove a portion for analysis. Blend separable dressings with 0.20 g of egg albumen powder as emulsifier per 100 g of sample in a high-speed blender. Mix thoroughly immediately prior to removing an aliquot for analysis. Correct analytical results for added emulsifier (include appropriate quantity of emulsifier in the blank determination). 

The two components (W and C) must be blended thoroughly prior to carburization. This is done in different types of equipment, like V or double cone blenders, mixing ball mills, or high-energy mixers. An even blend is of importance because, during carburization, carbon atoms can only move via diffusion or as methane molecules over very short distances. Pelletizing or compacting enhances diffusion and increases the furnace capacity. 

In the 2- or 3-alloy method, the alloys are usually separately milled to their respective optimal particle sizes. They are then mixed in dry form using tumble blenders. Mixing coarse, individually pre-ground powders followed by a final hall-milling of the blend is also done.

A Southside Fizz is only promoted by establishments that want to conserve their mix. Also, some establishments will use crushed ice, mint leaves and rum (with lemon juice) and blend in a blender. This is also unsatisfactory, as the crushed ice immediately melts and leaves one with the impression that one is drinking a watered-down lemonade. Also, the task of removing tiny bits of mint from your tongue detracts from the enjoyment. Another important hint do not take shortcuts. To save time, some clubs will use frozen lemon juice or lemonade. Any purist who knows the real thing will spot it immediately. Assay preparation. Transfer not less than 20 Capsules to a blender jar or other container, and add about 150 mL of methylene chloride, and cool in a solid carbon dioxide acetone mixture until the contents have solidified. If necessary, transfer the mixture of capsules and methylene chloride to a blender jar, and blend with high-speed blender until all the solids are reduced to fine particles. Transfer the mixture to a 500-mL volumetric flask, add n-heptane to volume, mix, and allow solids to settle. Transfer an accurately measured volume of this solution, equivalent to 250 mg of valproic acid, to a 100 mL volumetric flask, dilute with w-heptane to volume, and mix. Transfer 5.0 mL to a container equipped with a closure. Add 2.0 mL of the internal standard solution, close the container, and mix. 

The ingredients of each blend were thoroughly mixed in a large ribbon blender. The entire food preparation and packaging operation was carried out in a sanitary manner. A quantity of each blend was appropriately subpackaged for the various physical, chemical and microbiological tests.
