BHS-Fest filter

The BHS-Fest Filter. A different approach to the use of a dmm for pressure filtration is made in the BHS-Fest filter (Fig. 24). This permits a separate treatment of each filter section, in which the pressure may vary from vacuum to a positive pressure pressure regulation is much less difficult than in the conventional enclosed dmm-type pressure filter. 

Drum fillers include the TDF drum filter and the BHS-Fest filter.

The BHS-Fest pressure filter has a rotating drum, also divided into sections but the separating strips project above the filter cloth and thus form cells. The drum is almost completely surrounded by an outer shell and the space between the shell and the drum is divided into a number of compartments.
