Bellows, metering pump

Electric spring bellows metering pump for liquids and gases... [Pg.476]

Two LINK bellows metering pumps combined with 6 volt DC motors have been used to pump the sample and reagent solutions. Teflon tubing or other inert material which does not stretch with time in the presence of the organic solvent is required for transfer of solutions. [Pg.200]

Calibrate the detector tube pump for proper volume measurement at least quarterly. Simply connect the pump directly to the bubble meter with a detector mbe in-line. Use a detector mbe and pump from the same manufacturer. Wet the inside of the 100 cc bubble meter with soap solution. For volume calibration, experiment to get the soap bubble even with the zero ml mark of the buret. For piston-type pumps, pull the pump handle all the way out (full pump stroke) and note where the soap bubble stops for bellows-type pumps, compress the bellows fully for automatic pumps, program the pump to take a full pump stroke. [Pg.249]

PPDS works on the principle of metering pumps and employs diaphragm, bellows, centrifugal, or vacuum-pressure-dispense pumps. These systems may be used for slurries including shear-sensitive slurries and cause minimal recirculation during slurry usage and replenishment. [Pg.585]

Metering pump head of glass with Teflon bellow.s for combination with the standardized drive of type PAE 32/50... [Pg.223]

Plunger pumps have proved satisfactory for lai er plants with continuous operation. Metering pump heads of glass with PTFE bellows were already mentioned in chap. 5.1.3.1 (Fig. 143) [88]. Circulation pumps made of glass are put to a variety of uses for a capacity range up to 20 m /h and lifts up to 15 ra (Fig. 402). Metering pumps which may also be employed for the automatic mixing of various liquid streams (Fig. 403) in laboratory and pilot plant distillation [85] are manufactured by... [Pg.477]

In addition, an interesting phenomenon was observed when pumping the sample gas through the sampling probe. The chamber air is pulled through the screens and filter, and through a dry test meter with a Metal Bellows pump. When pump is on, a steadily increasing number of detectable condensation nuclei is found. [Pg.375]
