Backup servicer

The role of the back-up servicer is simple in principal. If the servicer of the assets breaches the covenants documented under the servicing agreement, and it is deemed that they are no longer fit or able to continue to service the assets, the back up servicer is then responsible for servicing the assets. There are different levels of responsibility depending on what type of backup servicer is appointed ... [Pg.949]

Hot Backup Servicer. The appointment of a hot backup servicer offers the most protection to the deal as the time window in which the servicer is replaced is smallest, usually the hot backup servicer agrees to be servicing the assets within 24 hours. [Pg.949]

Warm Backup Servicer. A warm servicer ensures that the assets are serviced in the event of a servicer default usually within the period of 5-30 days. [Pg.949]

Cold Backup Servicer. The appointment of a cold servicer offers least protection to the deal. The cold servicer undertakes to ensure that the assets are being serviced, not necessarily by themselves (most often not themselves), within a specified period, often a period of between 30-90 days. [Pg.949]

Although not all backup servicers are rated, increasingly both rating agencies and investor are looking for rated institutions to be nominated as the backup servicer. [Pg.950]

In normal plant operation at least two adsorption purifiers are employed—one in service while the other being desorbed of its impurities. In some cases there is an advantage in using an additional purifier by placing this unit in series with the adsorption unit to provide a backup if impurities are not trapped by the first unit. The cooling of the purifier must be effected with some of the purified gas to avoid adsorption during this period. [Pg.1134]

High-efficiency expanders and their relatively short payback period made even smaller units economically attractive. These machines have demonstrated a high degree of reliability. Hundreds of units have been in continuous uninterrupted service for many years this has removed the need for backup equipment and has demonstrated that unattended operation is entirely feasible. [Pg.3]

The shutdown system will have adequate interlocks to prevent inadvertent trips. The system must include two-out-of-three voting or backup instruments. The operators must trust the system for it to remain in service. [Pg.254]

LIMS as rented service— The application service provision provider (ASP) is a means of obtaining access to software applications without the need to acquire expensive licenses and hardware or employ high-cost support resources [7]. The application is hosted on a third-party site with system maintenance, backup, and recovery provided by a third party. Products and services can be rented for a contract period on a fixed cost per user/per month basis. The advantages of obtaining LIMS in this fashion include reduced cost in initial investment and reduced requirement of resources for maintaining the LIMS. The continued security and integrity of the data transferred over the Internet is a major concern for this type of LIMS. [Pg.60]

The Department of Defense (DOD) Fuel Cell Demonstration Program is managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. It was begun in the mid-1990s to advance the use of PAFCs at DOD installations. Under this program, stationary fuel cells were installed at 30 facilities and locations in the Armed Services. The fuel cells are used for primary and backup power as well as heat. [Pg.226]

Since the last decade of the twentieth century to date, the IT industry assisted by internet and electronic media has changed the face of the world. Especially it has affected the Industry and Academia in the country. The students produced by the colleges and the Universities are unemployable due to lack of skill information the profitability of the industry has declined for the lack innovation and improvement in the technical backup and services. Exception being the IT industry. [Pg.34]

The production Internet deployment of Cabinet has proven to be robust and reliable. The first two months of operation were analyzed carefully. Average usage was 182000 HTTP requests processed per day. Service was interrupted four times twice due to external network glitches, once due to a power failure that exceeded the UPS backup capacity, and once due to a botched server upgrade (which affected only one service for 5 min). Overall uptime was 99.85% during this period. [Pg.266]

Total operating investment The fked capital investment, backup capital, auxiliary capital, utilities and services capital, and working capital. [Pg.56]

There are several methods of layering in common use ( ) thick layers shrunk together (2) thin layers, each wrapped over the other and the longitudinal seam welded by using the prior layer as backup and (3) thin layers spirally wrapped. The code rules are written for either thick or thin layers. Rules and details are provided for all the usual welded joints and nozzle reinforcement. Supports for layered vessels require special consideration, in that only the outer layer could con-triDute to the support. For lethal service only the inner shell and inner heads need comply with the requirements in Subsec. B. Inasmuch as radiography would not be practical for inspection of many of the welds, extensive use is made of magnetic-particle and ultrasonic inspection. When radiography is required, the code warns the inspector... [Pg.154]

When determining the amount of jwer-generation backup, water injection is considered an interruptible service. Water-injection pump may be out of service for several days to permit a power generation increment to be serviced. [Pg.29]

Heat removed by condensation is easy. The heat-transfer coefficient U for condensation of pure, clean, vapors may be 400 to 1000 Btu per hour per ft2 of heat exchanger surface area, per °F of temperature-driving force. The U value for subcooling stagnant liquid may be only 10 to 30. Condensate backup is the major cause of lost heat transfer for heat exchangers, in condensing service. [Pg.152]

The eventual supplementary balancing piston is actually fitted as a backup device if the bellows fail in service this device will ensure that the valve still relieves at the correct set pressure. Balancing piston valves are uncommon and expensive, but without the balancing piston fitted, the variable backpressure has an adverse effect on the set point of the SRV. This may result in the valve not relieving at its hill capacity or not achieving hill lift within 10% overpressure... [Pg.114]

The information technology (IT) group should provide such network services as backup, recovery, continuity planning, and disaster recovery. [Pg.241]

Service backup relative to spare parts, local resources, etc. [Pg.410]

The consequences of the accident were exacerbated by the lack of a water system dedicated to fire fighting, and by deficiencies in the shared system. When the process water system was extensively damaged by the explosion, the plant s water supply for fighting fires was also disrupted. The water pressure was inadequate for fire fighting. The force of the explosion ruptured water-lines and adjacent vessels containing flammable and combustible materials. The ruptured water lines could not be isolated to restore water pressure because the valves to do so were engulfed in flames. Of the three backup diesel pumps, one had been taken out of service and was unavailable, and another soon ran... [Pg.140]
