Audio tapes

All interviews were audio-taped and transcribed. Following a simplified scheme of Mayring (2000), the answers and discussions were then analysed and categorised.

A record is a piece of information permanently or semi-permanently preserved on a particular medium. A laboratory will generate a large number of records in various forms (such as paper, photographic film, computer files, video or audio tape). Other PET grades are manufactured for packaging films, as well as for the production of video and audio tapes. These PET types are often standard grades with an IV of 0.64 dL/g. To reduce the sticking tendency of the final product, solid additives such as Si02 or china clay with specific particle sizes and particle-size distributions are incorporated by master-batch processes. Ferrimagnetic phases are widely used for the storage of digital or analogue data on computer disks or audio tapes. Because known and mineralogically well-defined systems exist, magnetometric methods allow precise and specific characterization of these phases in order to control and improve their magnetic performance for technical applications. 

World production of cobalt-free magnetic iron oxides in 1995 was ca. 13 000 t, of which ca. 96% was used in compact cassettes and audio tapes, and ca. 4% in computer tapes.

A range of communication efforts constitutes interpretive activity there are direct forms of communication such as guides and guided tours, there are visitor centres where the opportunity to communicate with advisory personnel is possible but not always central, and several forms of communication where no personnel are present. Use a variety of different approaches to avoid boredom during revision (e.g. record information on audio tape, use cartoons, or any other method, as long as it s not just reading notes ). 

The human ear normally can hear sounds up to about 15,000 cycles per second. To record such a high frequency without distortion requires extremely tiny magnetic particles. The magnetic material must be easy to align and should retain its pattern of orientation indefinitely. Better quality audio tapes use very fine grains of chromium dioxide instead of iron oxide. Inexpensive tapes are adequate for recording the spoken voice because its frequency range is much less than for music. 

Digital audio tape (DAT)— A high fidelity technology developed in the 1990s, where information is stored on magnetic tape in binary code. 

There are several pieces of backup hardware that are currently available. You can back up your information to magnetic tape, Digital Audio Tape (DAT), Digital Linear Tape (DLT), optical disk, removable hard disk, and many other removable media. The key here is that all of these media can be removed from the drive and stored in a safe place. 

D. Of the items listed, the following are valid backup hardware digital audio tape, digital linear tape, and optical disk. Because hard disks are more failure-prone than the other types listed, they make a poor backup medium.
