Anointing

The use of fragrant substances has been continuous, and the use of Hpids or emoUients for anointing is fully documented in historical writings. However, it is probably not justifiable to identify the recipes passed on from antiquity as cosmetics. The compositions based on folklore and mysticism were replaced by more scientifically acceptable products beginning about 1875. The first edition of a handbook of cosmetic chemistry pubHshed in 1920 included a foreword noting that scientific cosmetic chemistry did not exist prior to that pubHcation (1). A few years later, texts on cosmetic chemistry and other formularies became available (2). 

Men have rejected the true, living, and inward knowledge of God, and his Anointed and also of his Holy Spirit... but have placed their Reason in the midst of the Temple of God, in place or stead of GOD, and his Divine Light ...

Our behavioural observations suggested that spotted hyenas actively acquired scent from other clan members when they pasted over stalks of vegetation that held scent deposited by another clan member. During this process the scent of other clan members may be taken into the protruded scent gland as well as being rubbed onto the pasting individual s fur. As clan membership is not static over time, there is probably a need for clan members to continuously anoint themselves with the scent of other clan members to retain the current clan odour.

By gematria, the number 358 is that of the serpent of temptation in Eden and also of the Messiah, the Anointed One. This reveals that the serpent is the tempter. Kundalini is the source of the illusion of apparent separateness, and so is the father of lies. Yet, when overcome (transmuted), kundalini becomes the very instrument of our salvation (literally, a safe passage home ). That by which we fall is also that by which we can rise again. 

If your clothes are on fire do not run. I know this sounds stupid, but the faster you move the faster and hotter your clothes burn. Walk to your fire blanket or a nearby shower. If you were too stupid to get a blanket and there is no nearby shower, try rolling on the floor and dumping sand or baking soda on yourself If you have received a severe burn, do not touch or anoint it with anything, get medical attention at once.
