Analysis of Literature Sources

To facilitate the efficient literature searching of workers in the metal carbonyl field we provide here a breakdown of the reference sources for the 1992 literature. Although there is certain to be some personal bias in the distribution of literature sources, it is unlikely to distort the overall picture too greatly. [Pg.153]

Those wishing to organise their literature searching more effectively in this field should also be aware of the recent publication Information Sources in Chemistry (4th Edition R T Bottle and J F B Rowland eds Bowker-Saur 1992 ISBN 1-85739-016-4).  [Pg.154]

In tire previous two reports on the metal carbonyls we have provided a brief anafysis of the literature sources and we continue that custom here. Altfaou there is [Pg.173]

Researchers would be well advised to note that nearly 80% of publications in 1994 were concentrated in the top five journals. [Pg.174]

In total, some 53 journals are represented in the list of references, of which 28 contained only a single paper of interest to this report. It is interesting to note that over half (52%) of all the papers reviewed in this report were published in five journals (J. Organomet. Chem. [18%], Organometallics [14%], Inorg. Chem. [7%], J. Am. Chem. Soc. [7%] and J. Chem. Soc. Dalton Trans [6%]). [Pg.159]
