Affirmative Action Organization

What are the potential advantages and limitations of affirmative action to a pharmacy organization ... 

In my talk, I will start by relating affirmative action and diversity, and introduce the business value of diversity. Then I will discuss what some organizations do to improve their diversity through recruiting, employee development, and advancement. My comments will reflect my experience with my recent employer, Rohm and Haas Company, as well as my familiarity with other organizations.

In examining best practices in diversity and inclusion governance, we learned that governance continues to be a cornerstone of effective diversity and affirmative action efforts. Across industries, diversity is growing in its importance to boards of directors, external advocacy groups, investors, and shareholders. All these stakeholders want to see more transparency in operations, so they are examining the extent of diversity and how it is reflected at all levels in organizations. 

The deep chemical know-how based on the new theories of organic chemistry inspired by Kekule s six-carbon benzene ring (which was ideally suited to the needs of dye invention) was to be obtained at many German state-run institutions after 1870, but rarely in Britain. This was acknowledged in Britain. However, the overall lack of economic vision at government level with respect to the education of chemists for industrial careers had dire consequences. There was some official concern about the situation, which led to recommendations for reforms by the Select Committee on Education in 1868 and the Royal Commission in 1881, but httle affirmative action was taken. 

It has been recently shown that YTX did not induce any effect in E-cadherin system in vivo [32]. These results confirm the loss of morphological changes the toxin induced in any internal organ after several days of oral treatment, which has been described earlier. Before these last results and from E-cadherin data, YTX was proposed to facilitate tumor spreading and metastasis formation [30] however, now affirmation of this hypothesis should be reviewed. In addition, an effect over E-cadherin levels was recently reported after azaspiracids exposition, suggesting that both toxins share their mechanism of action [33]. However, while human azaspiracids intoxications had been reported, YTX intoxications have never been described, and the data available about azaspiracid effect show a very different effect over cAMP, cytosolic calcium, intracellular pH, and cytoskeleton structure [34-39].
