Acrylic-based Multi Polymer Compounds

This compound is a copolymer of acrylic acid and two other monomers and known as XT Polymer (Cyro Industries). It has excellent oil and grease resistance and has, in fact, been used for the fabrication of containers for peanut butter and medicinal mineral oil. 

Lopac (Monsanto) is the trade name for a copolymer of methacrylonitrile with small percentages of styrene and methyl styrene. It has been used as a material for the fabrication of carbonated soft drink bottles. It has excellent clarity and barrier properties.
